Google's May security patch for Pixels is here, targeting charging and display

Google has started rolling out its May 2026 security update to Pixel phones from the Pixel 7a to the Pixel 10 series, plus the Pixel Tablet.

The patch fixes slow wireless charging around 75% to 80% battery and resolves display noise and freezing issues on Pixel 10 models.

It also addresses a camera recording zoom freeze and a keyboard/input-screen problem.

The update targets recurring usability issues on recent Pixel devices running Android 16.
