Samsung and Google Just Teased Their Upcoming Android XR Smartglasses at Google I/O

Samsung and Google previewed their first Android XR smartglasses at Google I/O 2026.

The first-generation models are audio-only and were co-designed with Warby Parker and Gentle Monster.

They include speakers, cameras, a touchpad, and Gemini-powered voice features for tasks like translation and navigation.

The glasses are set to launch in select markets later this fall, with iPhone compatibility planned; display-equipped versions are not expected until 2027.
