Last.fm Goes Independent After Breaking Up With Paramount Skydance

Last.fm says it is independent again after exiting ownership under CBS and Paramount Skydance.

The music-tracking service says its team, user profiles, listening logs, privacy settings, and paid plans will stay unchanged.

The move affects the platform’s corporate ownership, but Last.fm says users should not see changes to core functionality.
