Claude Code's source code appears to have leaked: here's what we know

Anthropic accidentally published a 59.8 MB JavaScript source map in version 2.1.88 of the @anthropic-ai/claude-code npm package.

An archived ~512,000-line TypeScript codebase was mirrored on GitHub and analyzed after a public post revealed a download link.

The leak exposes Claude Code internals including a three-layer memory architecture, an autonomous KAIROS daemon mode, and internal model codenames and metrics.
