After 21 years, Guild Wars Reforged now lets you name yourself like a World of Warcraft character, so now I'm just John

ArenaNet has relaxed Guild Wars Reforged’s old naming rule, so characters no longer need both a first and last name.

Players can also rename existing characters with a shop-bought Character Name Change item.

The update adds more than a cosmetic fix, with new dungeon content like Tunnels of the Forsaken and Depths of Tyria on the way.

ArenaNet is also continuing platform support work, including improvements for Steam and Steam Deck.
