ByteDance launches Seedance 2.5: 30-second AI video in one take

ByteDance unveiled Seedance 2.5 on July 31, 2026.

The new model doubles the maximum video length and generates video plus audio in a single pass.

It can extend clips multiple times while preserving continuity, and supports broader multimodal references.

The update also adds more precise editing tools, including timestamp-based controls.
