Google Photos is getting a lot better at fixing your selfies

Google Photos is rolling out new face-retouching tools on Android to make selfie and portrait editing easier.

The update can smooth skin, remove blemishes, reduce under-eye bags, and whiten teeth, with an intensity slider for control.

It requires Android 9 or later and at least 4GB of RAM.

The feature set points to more advanced portrait editing and suggests some processing may be shifting to the cloud.
