A Proof Of Print inventor unveiled a prototype filament dryer that uses waste heat from Bitcoin-mining ASICs to keep 3D-printer filament dry.

The device reportedly mines BTC at around 6 TH/s while drawing about 140W.

The same creator previously showed off a 3D printer with integrated Bitcoin mining.

The project is a niche effort to merge 3D-printing hardware and mining, using waste heat for both functions.
