AWS Deploys AI Agents To Do The Work Of DevOps And Security Teams

AWS announced two autonomous agents, the DevOps Agent and Security Agent, now generally available after a five-month preview.

The DevOps Agent investigates alerts, correlates observability data, maps resources and recommends mitigations but cannot modify infrastructure.

The Security Agent performs autonomous penetration tests by ingesting code and architecture, cutting test timelines from weeks to hours.

Both agents support multicloud environments and launched in six AWS regions, with pricing aimed at generating ROI comparisons versus human teams.
