‘Escape From Tarkov’ Patch Notes Bring Massive Icebreaker Event

Battlestate Games released Escape From Tarkov patch 1.0.5.0, launching the long-teased Icebreaker event.

The update adds a ship-themed vertical map, a branching story campaign, new boss and AI enemies, and security code mechanics.

Players can also unlock new cosmetic items, while a short Twitch Drops campaign begins the next day.

The event expands Tarkov’s story content and changes how players progress through the new map.
