AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon team up to eliminate coverage dead zones

AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon have reached an agreement in principle to form a joint venture.

The carriers plan to pool ground spectrum and invest in satellite direct-to-device technology.

The goal is to improve wireless coverage in weak-signal and no-signal areas across the U.S.

If finalized, the deal could help close rural coverage gaps and create a shared carrier-satellite model.
