Hitachi Vantara’s Norman manufacturing facility in the U.S. selected as a World Economic Forum ‘Lighthouse Factory’

Hitachi Vantara’s Norman, Oklahoma storage manufacturing site has been named a World Economic Forum Lighthouse Factory.

The facility was recognized for AI and agentic AI-driven digital manufacturing and supply chain innovation.

These changes cut order-to-shipment lead times significantly and reduced inventory to about half.

The result highlights the real-world impact of AI on manufacturing productivity, resilience, and sustainability.
