NVIDIA, Microsoft, SpaceX AI and others form the industry group “Open Secure AI Alliance” to improve AI safety and cybersecurity, while Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google do not participate

NVIDIA, Microsoft and about 40 partners launched the Open Secure AI Alliance to improve AI safety and cybersecurity.

The group will share open models, methods and security tools to defend AI agents and software from attacks.

Members include Hugging Face, Adobe, IBM, Red Hat, HPE and the Linux Foundation.

Anthropic, OpenAI and Google did not join, highlighting the debate over open versus closed approaches to AI security.
