China to Purchase $17bn Worth of Agriculture Products from U.S. – White House

China agreed to buy at least $17 billion in U.S. agricultural goods annually from 2026 to 2028, excluding separate soybean purchases.

The White House said the commitment is part of a broader effort to ease U.S.-China trade tensions and stabilize relations.

Both sides also supported creating new trade and investment boards to help manage disputes and improve communication.

The deal could reopen a major market for U.S. farmers while reducing friction between the world’s two largest economies.
