New research aims to transform civic engagement across 54 African nations - Tekedia

Brain Builders Youth Development Initiative will launch a continent-wide AI and civic engagement report on May 21, 2026, in Abuja.

The study covers all 54 African countries and examines how AI can strengthen public participation and government accountability.

It also introduces the proposed AIF-NICES Framework for ethical AI-enabled civic engagement.

The findings could help shape how African governments and civil society deploy AI responsibly in digital governance.
