iOS 26.5 Will Likely Bring End-to-End Encrypted RCS Messaging to Your iPhone

Apple has released the iOS 26.5 release candidate with beta end-to-end encrypted RCS messaging.

The update adds new Apple Maps ad and discovery features, including Suggested Places.

It also introduces a Pride Luminance wallpaper and monthly payment options for annual App Store subscriptions.

In the EU, iOS 26.5 will soon support Live Activities for third-party accessories, expanding platform capabilities.
