YouTube is expanding premium features for subscribers, starting on Android and rolling out to iOS later.

The update adds automatic playback speed adjustments by content segment, aiming to make video viewing smoother.

In some countries, Premium and YouTube Music Premium users will also get AI-powered podcast recommendations.

Android is also getting an on-the-go mode for easier background playback controls.
