iOS 27 to Add New Apple Intelligence Photo Editing Tools

Bloomberg says Apple is preparing an Apple Intelligence tools section for Photos in iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27.

The new editing options are expected to include Extend, Enhance, and Reframe for on-device AI photo editing.

Extend would expand images, Enhance would automatically improve them, and Reframe would adjust perspective.

The features could be delayed or scaled back if Apple runs into development problems.

If shipped, the update would broaden Apple’s on-device AI editing tools and help close the gap with rival phone cameras.
