Trump Fans Furious That NASA Is Allowing a Canadian on the Moon Mission

NASA launched the Artemis 2 mission carrying four astronauts around the Moon.

The crew includes the first Black person and the first woman to visit the Moon and Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen.

Some social media users, including supporters of Donald Trump, criticized Hansen’s inclusion and questioned a Canadian on the mission.

The Canadian Space Agency was established in 1990 and Canada has long collaborated with NASA through systems like Canadarm.

Hansen brought maple syrup and maple cream cookies aboard and commented on enjoying being on the mission.
