Fingerprint unveils 'AI Assistant Detection' that identifies traffic from ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude

FingerprintJS has previewed AI assistant detection and an automation intelligence API.

The tool can identify traffic from ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and similar systems making HTTP requests without a browser.

It uses IP ranges, DNS and network risk signals to classify AI tool access in real time.

Instead of blocking outright, companies can choose rate limits or extra verification to reduce abuse and scraping.
