US Marine Corps seeks new portable attack drone to strike tanks from 15 miles away

The U.S. Marine Corps has opened industry outreach for OPF-M, a lightweight portable strike drone for two-person teams.

The system must fly at least 15 miles, remain airborne for 20 minutes, and disable armored vehicles.

The service is also considering future multi-mission roles and counter-jamming capabilities.

The effort could give small Marine units a long-range anti-armor option without relying on larger platforms, with human oversight built in.
