Took up a saw instead of a human... 2m-tall 'half-human, half-beast' centaur robot

California-based robotics company Sarcos has unveiled 'ThreeHubs,' a 213cm teleoperated centaur-style robot built for hazardous work.

The robot combines a human upper body with a four-legged lower body and is designed for use in wildfires, collapse sites, and toxic environments.

It can operate tools such as a chainsaw, move across rough terrain, and includes a wrist tool-changing mechanism.

Emergency stop brakes and locking devices are built in, highlighting its potential to improve safety and efficiency in disaster response.
