Smart glasses for the rest of us: Meta’s Ray-Ban glasses get the prescription treatment

Meta announced Ray‑Ban Meta Blayzer Optics and Scriber Optics with built‑in prescription support and redesigned frames.

The glasses start at $499, are available for pre‑order, and will reach retail and optical stores on April 14.

New software features include hands‑free nutrition tracking, on‑device WhatsApp summaries, and pedestrian navigation rolling out in May.
