New, Massive $650 Minas Tirith Castle Is Lego’s Largest Lord of the Rings Lego Set Ever

Lego has unveiled a massive Minas Tirith set with 8,278 pieces, making it its largest Lord of the Rings build yet.

The collector-focused set includes nine minifigures, among them Aragorn, Gandalf the White, Faramir and Denethor.

U.S. pricing is set at $650, with early access for Lego Insiders on June 1 and a wider launch on June 4.

Early buyers will also get a bonus Ork-and-battering-ram gift with purchase, adding to likely fan and resale demand.
