Anthropic tests its own always-on "Conway" agent

Anthropic has been testing an always-on agent called Conway exposed as a separate sidebar option.

Conway opens a dedicated web page and provides its own Claude chat UI with Search, Chat, and System areas.

The instance can run Claude Code, support webhooks, integrate with Chrome, and install extensions via a new .cnw.zip format.

Settings reference Connectors, Tools, and a toggle to link Claude in Chrome, suggesting Conway can stay connected to external systems.
