Ted Lasso actor who played Dani Rojas is now a professional soccer player

Cristo Fernández, best known as Dani Rojas on Ted Lasso, has signed as a forward with El Paso Locomotive FC.

He earned the deal after a two-month trial, marking a real-life return to professional soccer.

Fernández is stepping back into the sport years after leaving it as a teen because of injury.
