Combating online child sexual exploitation & abuse

OpenAI says it is strengthening safeguards to prevent child sexual exploitation and abuse across its models and products.

The company outlined policies and technical controls to stop users and developers from creating or sharing CSAM or other exploitative content.

Measures include monitoring, dataset filtering, hash matching, account bans, and reporting confirmed cases to NCMEC.

OpenAI says it is working with safety experts and child-protection groups to improve detection and enforcement.
