Despite Previous Integration Failure, Etsy Launches Its App in ChatGPT

Etsy launched a beta app inside ChatGPT, letting users tag @Etsy to search for products, browse listings, and open items on Etsy.

The integration also gives Etsy data on how people use conversational search, which could help shape future shopping features.

It follows Etsy’s earlier Instant Checkout tie-in with ChatGPT, which boosted traffic but did not meaningfully lift sales.

Etsy says the beta will inform a similar chatbot experience on its own platform.
