KADOKAWA strengthens webtoon expansion, establishes new studio with LINE and others; first project is a spin-off of "Record of Lodoss War"

KADOKAWA, LINE Digital Frontier, and REDICE STUDIO will launch STUDIO WHITE to produce and distribute webtoons globally.

The new studio aims for releases in more than 150 countries, combining Japanese IP, production know-how, and platform reach.

Its first project will be a Lodoss War spin-off, debuting in Korean on NAVER WEBTOON in May 2026.

The title will then roll out in Japanese on LINE Manga and ebookjapan, with more languages to follow.
