IGEL and Zscaler unveil Zero Trust blueprints for healthcare security

IGEL and Zscaler released three Zero Trust healthcare blueprints for recovery sites, distributed clinics, and remote clinicians.

The architectures use IGEL’s immutable endpoint OS and Zscaler’s cloud Zero Trust platform, including Zero Trust Exchange and Client Connector.

One blueprint secures access to isolated recovery environments after ransomware, helping keep care operations running.

Another provides a standard security model for distributed clinics, while the third enables secure remote access for clinicians.

The goal is to improve resilience, protect patient data, and reduce reliance on traditional VPN-based access.
