Sony announces the 66.8-megapixel full-frame mirrorless camera "α7R VI" with R’s first stacked sensor, priced at about ¥740,000

Sony announced the α7R VI, a new full-frame mirrorless camera with a 66.8MP stacked sensor.

It is the first α7R model to use a stacked CMOS sensor, boosting burst shooting, AF, and high-speed readout.

The camera supports 8K 30p and 4K 120p video, along with improved wireless connectivity and battery performance.

Sony plans to release the α7R VI on June 5 for about ¥740,000.
