Proton Mail now lets you send email from your Gmail address

Proton Mail has launched a Gmail migration feature to make switching from Google easier.

It imports recent messages and keeps delivering mail sent to the old Gmail address into Proton Mail.

The goal is to let users move to a more private, encrypted inbox without immediately changing their email address everywhere.

Proton says the update lowers the barrier for Gmail users who want to leave an ad-driven email ecosystem.
