Rivian will deliver the electric R2 starting June 9th, but you’ll need to snag an invite first

Rivian will begin sending R2 order invitations on June 9, starting the long-awaited move from reservation to purchase.

Invites will go out in batches based on reservation time and delivery location, with extra priority for some existing owners and lease customers.

The first available version is the R2 Performance with Launch Package; Premium follows in late 2026 and Standard in 2027.

Once orders are confirmed, deliveries are expected within two to six weeks.
