Steins;Gate Is Getting Another Remake On Switch 1 & 2 This August

MAGES. has announced Steins;Gate Re:Boot, a new remake of the 2009 sci-fi visual novel, for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.

The game launches in Japan on August 20, 2026, and will feature updated artwork, a refreshed UI, and new story scenarios.

Physical editions are confirmed, and Spike Chunsoft will publish the game in the West, though no English release date has been announced.

The remake brings back the Science Adventure classic with modern visuals and continued support for both Switch generations.
