Video: New $13K humanoid from China aims to widen access to advanced robotics

Astribot, also known as Stardust Intelligence, has launched the T1 humanoid robot with a starting price of about $13,000 and is now taking orders.

The wheeled robot has 23 degrees of freedom, supports grippers or five-finger hands, and can lift up to 5 kg with one arm.

It is designed for practical tasks like cooking, folding laundry, sorting parts, and EV charging.

Astribot says T1 uses cable-driven motion and AI trained on human demonstrations, aiming to make advanced robotics more affordable and deployable.
