U.S. Army to deploy 'God's Hammer' overseas for test operations

The U.S. Army formally tested the sea-based version of the electronic warfare system “Hammer of the Gods” during an off-shore demonstration on the West Coast.

The system is designed to jam enemy GPS and PNT signals, reducing the accuracy of precision-guided weapons.

The trial also confirmed it can maintain friendly communications in a jamming-heavy environment.

The test is significant because it could degrade the strike accuracy of enemy long-range artillery and missiles, strengthening future battlefield EW capabilities.
