NVIDIA Aims to Expand Manufacturing Capacity in the US by 10x Through Corning Partnership, Mainly Focusing on Optical Connectivity

NVIDIA and Corning announced a multiyear partnership to expand U.S. optical connectivity manufacturing for AI infrastructure.

Corning will boost optical connectivity capacity 10x and raise fiber output by more than 50% to meet surging demand.

The companies will build three new facilities in North Carolina and Texas.

The expansion is expected to create more than 3,000 jobs and strengthen domestic supply chains for AI data centers and GPU deployments.
