New Eurofighter jet with advanced radar, more upgrades showcased, flight testing soon

Airbus unveiled the Tranche 4 Eurofighter in Munich and said production has begun in Manching for Germany’s 38-aircraft order.

The upgraded jet adds an AESA radar, improved avionics, and other digital mission-system enhancements.

The aircraft has not yet completed its maiden flight, with testing still to come.

The rollout is intended to keep the German Air Force mission-ready for NATO and national defense until next-generation fighters arrive.
