AI glasses "Ray-Ban Meta" finally arrive in Japan, starting in the 70,000-yen range

Meta and EssilorLuxottica will launch four AI glasses models in Japan on May 21, including Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta.

The lineup starts at 73,700 yen and goes up to 96,580 yen.

The glasses support photo and video capture, calling, music playback, and voice control with Meta AI.

The launch signals a broader push for AI glasses in Japan as everyday devices and part of next-gen computing competition.
