Nintendo Reveals Star Fox GameChat Character Avatars and AR Filters

Nintendo says Switch 2 Star Fox will use GameChat avatars to map players’ faces and expressions onto series characters.

The game will also include AR filters, such as animal ears and a Falco-style beak, for camera-based fun.

Players can use Nintendo’s camera or a compatible USB camera to access the features.

The move highlights Nintendo’s push to blend social, camera, and gameplay features on Switch 2, tied to Nintendo Switch Online.
