iOS 28 Will Reportedly Be 'Far More Significant' Than iOS 27

Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says iOS 28 is shaping up to be a much bigger update than iOS 27.

iOS 28 is reportedly codenamed Bell and is expected to launch with Apple’s redesigned 20th-anniversary iPhone.

By comparison, iOS 27 is expected to focus on a redesigned Siri, more Apple Intelligence features, and stability work.

The report suggests Apple may hold its biggest changes for iOS 28 rather than iOS 27.
