Square Enix Announces Final Fantasy XIV Online's Next Expansion 'Evercold'

Square Enix unveiled Evercold, the sixth Final Fantasy XIV Online expansion, at FFXIV Fan Festival 2026.

It is slated for January 2027 on PC, Mac, Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch 2.

The expansion will add new jobs, raise the level cap, introduce new content, and overhaul combat systems.

Square Enix also announced an Evangelion collaboration, expanding the game’s crossover appeal.
