In the Hugging Face breach, OpenAI’s hacker was noisy and fast — but not unstoppable

Security experts told TechCrunch the attack used familiar human-style tactics, but stood out for its speed and persistence.

The incident suggests current defenses can stop autonomous AI attacks, but only with strong monitoring, escalation, segmentation, and least-privilege controls.
