AirDrop On Samsung Galaxy S26 Is Here: ‘It Just Works’ For iPhone File Sharing

Samsung has added AirDrop-compatible sharing to the Galaxy S26, S26+ and S26 Ultra via Quick Share.

The feature requires One UI 8.5 (build ending AZCF) and Google Play Services 26.11.xx and began rolling out to the U.S. and U.K.

Transfers need both devices set to Everyone and are functional, though tests showed Galaxy transfers are slower than iPhone-to-iPhone AirDrop.
