OpenAI president says it’s ‘building a family of devices’ for its AI chatbots

OpenAI president Greg Brockman said the company is developing a family of devices for interacting with its AI models.

He would not confirm rumored form factors like a smart speaker or wearable, or say when any product might launch.

Brockman said OpenAI is focused on its own technology, even as it faces an Apple lawsuit.

He also said the company is working on verifiable, auditable privacy protections and expects voice to replace typing in much of computing.
