TSMC Doubles Down on 2nm With Five Fabs Ramping at Once, Output Set to Eclipse 3nm by 2x

TSMC has started mass production of its 2nm process and is ramping five fabs this year to expand capacity.

At the same production stage, 2nm output is expected to be about 45% higher than 3nm, underscoring strong demand.

The company is also scaling advanced packaging and overseas fabs, including Arizona, Kumamoto, and Dresden.
