Amazon's cheapest Kindle Scribe is finally coming to the US on June 10

Amazon will launch a cheaper frontlight-free Kindle Scribe in the U.S. on June 10, with sales also planned for several other countries.

The new model costs $430, compared with $500 for the standard Kindle Scribe.

It offers a lower-cost way to buy Amazon’s large-screen e-reader and note-taking device.

The move could help Amazon keep Kindle users from switching to rival brands.
