Dell and RAMageddon are watering down the Alienware brand

The Verge says Dell’s new Alienware 15 feels like a cut-corner entry gaming laptop, with a plastic build, average display, and limited ports.

Its RTX 4050/5050/5060 configurations are seen as expensive for the specs, especially versus stronger rivals from HP and Asus.

Dell says surging RAM costs forced the pricing, and that volume sales will help offset the hit.

The launch highlights how memory inflation is pushing PC makers to raise prices and trim features, risking Alienware’s premium image.
