Android 17 is finally getting Apple’s Handoff feature, and it’s about time

Google is adding Continue On to Android 17, a Handoff-like feature for cross-device app resumption.

It will surface a recently used phone app on a tablet so users can reopen the same task and keep context.

If the app isn’t available, developers can send users to a matching web version through a deep link.
