Apple Seeds Second iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5 Release Candidates to Developers

Apple has seeded a second release candidate of iOS 26.5 and iPadOS 26.5 to developers ahead of a likely public launch next week.

The update looks minor, with no new Siri features, but it does add Maps Suggested Places, a new Pride wallpaper, and continued RCS end-to-end encryption testing.

Apple appears to be polishing final bugs before release, while bigger Siri upgrades are still expected later, likely with iOS 27.
